    US Naval Reserve 6th Regiment, Santa Barbara 1915-1917.
    His US Naval Aviation service was from 1917-1946.
    2 convoy crossings WW1 USS St Louis,Troop carrier convoys.
    Plane Captain H16 seplanes Patrolling the Irish Sea till 1918.
    US Embassy London, Chief in Charge Navy Garage 1919-1920.
    US Embassy Paris, Chief in Charge of Navy Garage 1920- 1921.
    US Naval Crew Member of the Howden Detachment, Bedford UK. Dirigible training, fate saved him from the crash of the R38.
    Construction engineer inspector of the USS Shenandoah, flew on the 9000 mi maiden voyage across the US(see Nat Geo issue Jan 1925).
    Shipped out retirement 1939/ 20yrs Recalled at start of WW2.
    During WW2 at Douglas Aircraft, Chief Engineer Aircraft Inspector, from 1941-46.
    He retired from the Navy in 1946 as a CWO5.

    He continued working in the aviation field with Hughes Aircraft from 1947-57. Final Retirement.
    He passed on December 1962. I was 9 years old.
