    Capt. Cyril F. Brickfield piloted B-17s on 53 missions over North Africa and Europe between 1942 and 1944. As a counsel to the house Judiciary Committee from 1951 to 1961, he joined the USAF Reserve 9999th under Sen. Barry Goldwater and was promoted to the rank of Major. He was born in 1919 and died in 1997.
