Daniel Le Moal, French air and space engineer, spent his entire working career of 31 years at SNECMA where he worked on such projects as Olympus (the engines of the Concord). Throughout his career he had the opportunity to work with General Electric in the United States.

His love of engineering and appreciation for the United States was transmitted to his son, Patrick Le Moal, who became an engineer and married an American, Carin Worek.
