    Daniel R. Diggin served in the U. S. Air force from 1963-1967. He was an avid aviation enthusiast and instrument certified Pilot. He owned a Cessna Skyhawk II which was primarily used to train new flying enthusiasts as a lease-back to the U. S. Army, Navy and Air Force for over 18 years. Dan tried to go to Oshkosh, Wisconsin every year for the annual fly in and was killed in a plane crash on his way back from there in 1999.
