* Flight Instructor Pensacola, FL (Whiting Field, Saufley Field).
* Award for 1000 and 2000 accident-free instructional hours. While on Reserve duty in Brunswick, Maine, his crew sighted and photographed a Russian nuclear submarine after nearly hitting its mast.
* Proud former owner and pilot of “Yellow Bird,” a 1946 Beech 17-G Staggerwing.
