Served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Participated in setting up the Air Force Academy, receiving an invitation for dedication from the Secretary of the Air Force. Career as a research psychologist with Air Force and navy research, development, test and evaluation laboratories. Prepared publications on advanced aircraft/missile systems, including F-104, B-58, C-130, F-4, F-14 and the Atlas, Titan and Snark missiles. Designed aircraft mission recorders and in-flight trainer systems.
