    Honored by:
    Joshua D. Burns

Served as a US Army helicopter pilot from August 1966 to May 1984, served in Vietnam from May 1968 to May 1969. When he got out he was at the rank of CW4 (Warrant Officer). He was rifted during the scale down of the military during the Regan years shorting him two years till retirement. He received a number of medals and accolades during his time of service including a flying cross from the South Vietnamese government in which he and others completed a daring rescue of South Vietnamese soldiers that where pinned down (I don't have much detail because he rarely ever speaks about his tour, this info is secondhand from my mother, though I have seen the flying cross medal, and others myself).

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
