He has been a flight instructor since 1973 and is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Maryland Wing Civil Air Patrol. He has acquired over ten thousand flight hours and has flown over seventy-five different types of aircraft since 1969.
David Clark Cloukey is the son of Clark D. Cloukey and has enjoyed flying single engine aircraft since 1986.
