In 1954, David Kaseman entered employment for the Department of the Air Force, serving as an Aircraft Engine Apprentice. His specialty was reciprocating engines and jet engines. He spent many hours in the test block operation. After several years as an aircraft engine mechanic, he was called upon to serve as a Missile Technician working on the Falcon Missile System. He also worked on the Bomarc Missile. His interest in aircraft continued after his retirement. There were many visits to Silver Hill and the Air and Space Museum. He was also an avid aircraft model builder.
