Ms. Jennifer Mackley
David L. Turley's work as an engineer spanned four decades. During that time he helped design the Boeing 707-AWACS, 707-Tanker, 707 E-6 Navy, 747-100, 747-400, 757-100, 757-100, 767-200, 767-AWACS, 767-400, and 777-100 airplanes, as well as the V-22 Tiltrotor, and Gulfstream IV and V helicopters. Initially his work was done with a pencil but he was one of the first to master 3-D computer-aided design. Although his pilot's license didn't authorize him to fly the planes he helped design, he kept a life-size picture of the 747 cockpit on his bedroom wall just in case.
