Born in Pittsfield, Mass but lived entire growing up life in Walpole, Mass. Went to college at University of Mass in Amherst, Mass. Masters from Central Michigan University Dave attended UPT at Williams AFB in 1963. He went across town to Luke for F-100 training and then to the 81st TFS, 50th TFW at Hahn AB. West Germany, 1964-1966. When the wing converted to the F-4 he went to Sembach AB near Ramstein as an ALO/FAC. He then went to Vietnam flying F-100s with the 510th TFS Buzzards, 3d TFW at Bien Hoa AB. Returning from Vietnam he flew F-104s at Luke and was later assigned to USAF Legislative Liaison in the Pentagon
