David T. Kerr served as a lieutenant in the US Navy, flying C-2s in Vietnam. After his naval service, he entered corporate aviation, flying for Sperry Rand and Falcon Jet.
His ultimate dream was to fly for a commercial carrier, and this dream was fulfilled when he was hired by Western Air Lines. Western was later acquired by Delta Air Lines, where he currently (July 2003) flies around the globe as a Captain on the Boeing 767/757. He is scheduled for retirement in July 2006.
