    Born Christmas Eve, 1924. PhD MIT in 1958 for work on cesium atomic clock, now the international time standard. College career followed four years service in the United States Army, 1943-1947. Professor of Physics, Boston University 1961 to 1991, now Emeritus. Member Aero Club of New England since 1977, President 1981 to 1988. Member and currently regional vice president National Aeronautic Association, recipient of the FAI’s Tissandier Diploma, 1988. Learned to fly in Canada in 1970, now hold a commercial license with multi-engine and instrument ratings with 3500 hours of flight time mostly in beech Barons.
