In 1991 Delta Air Lines created a flight attendant base in Orlando, Florida. From the beginning over 1,000 flight attendants based in MCO delivered safe and exceptional customer service in both the international and domestic operations. Specific innovative service included Delta Express, the original low fare carrier of Delta Air Lines created using front line feedback from MCO flight attendants along with all other operational areas. Delta Express began in MCO and successfully provided transportation for our customers from 1996-2001. As well, Delta's internal customer satisfaction measurements reflected top performance for the MCO flight attendants rating in the top two bases for all years. No customer complaints registered through the Department of Transportation were ever received for the MCO base. Honor goes to all who passed through those portals creating a positive environment where flight attendants enjoyed working and customers enjoyed their flight
