    Mechanic in the USAF 1951-1955

    Crew Chief of F-86F that set a new cross-country record of 4 hours 8 minutes 4 seconds on January 2, 1954. The plane was flown by Colonel Willard W. Millikan of the DC Air National Guard. The F-86F was from the 47th Fighter Interceptor Squadron at Niagara Falls, NY.

    I also worked for United Airlines as a mechanic and inspector for 32 years.
