Honored by:
A graduate of Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, NJ, he was a member of the first graduating class from the United States Air Force Academy. He spent 30 years in the Air Force -- 7 years active duty and 23 years in the Reserve. He retired as a Colonel in 1989.
He was also a pilot and flight engineer with Pan American World Airways for 20 years and ended his aviation career in 1998 as a Captain with United Airlines.
