    Don began his aviation career in the Navy as a Tail Gunner on a fighter based on the U.S.S. Intrepid during WWII. After the war he learned to fly while supporting a new family. Once he completed his training, he began his civilian career with Atlantic Aviation Inc. in 1959. He started out in Twin Beeches and DC-3, and throughout his career he was involved in the DH-125, Westwind and Grummen sales programs. He retired after 27 years of service. His final assignment was on the DuPont contract. His true calling was his willingness to teach. He taught and inspired many throughout his career. He is a true professional pilot.
