While my father may not have been a mover and shaker in the field of aviation, his passion for flight has lasted a lifetime....a gift he has given to me, for which I am eternally grateful. Born in 1921, he quickly became enamored with airplanes and flight. A modeler from a very young age, aviation became a reliable constant in his life.

Growing up in small town America, he was fortunate to have followed the advances in flight from the Golden Age, through WW2 into the Modern Age.

Visits to nearby country airport became the norm for our family. Memories that have lasted a lifetime for all of us.

In return, I'm proud to give my dad the gift of being placed on the Wall of Honor.
