Assigned to 336th Bomb Group, 479th Bomb Squadron, flying Martin B-26 Marauder. Instructor and pilot in B-26 until August 1944.
Assigned to 394th Bomb Group, 586th Bomb Squadron.
Released from active duty in February 1946 and joined 196th Fighter Squadron, California ANG in November 1946.
Recalled to active duty October 1950 for 21 months. Served with 196th Fighter Squadron and 163rd Fighter Group, California ANG until February 1969. Retired with grade of Colonel and was Commander, 163rd F.G. Command Pilot with more than 7600 hours flying time.
