    Donald L. MacGregor Jr. was born on June 21, 1930 in Duluth Minnesota. He joined the Air force as a Basic Airman in 1951 and after completing basic training, entered flight training as an aviation cadet at Maiden Air Base. He graduated from Williams AFB in the Class of 52F and completed his training at Nellis AFB. He was assigned to the 51st FIW, 25th Squadron at K13 in Korea and flew 63 missions before the war ended. He received the Air Medal with cluster and the Distinguished Flying Cross. After serving in the Air Force for five years, he flew in the Air Force Reserve for another five years in Minneapolis and left the Reserves as a Captain. He retired in 1991 after serving as the President and CEO of First Interstate Bank of Hawaii. He and his wife, Mary Jo, currently live in Northern California near Auburn.
