    Highlights:
In common with all pilots, I think, I dreamed as a child of floating and falling -- with a smile; it has been a passion ever since. My wife and I have flown from the north of Vancouver Island to the southern tip of Baja, Mexico; and from Seattle to Oshkosh, WI; where the words, "Land on the Green Dot, Welcome to Oshkosh" fulfilled a lifetime dream. When I teach a new student pilot, I relive each time the joy and excitement of the first landing, the first solo, and the first venture into a cloud 'on instruments'. I am privileged to live in a country where a private pilot can yet take off, fly in any direction, and with the exception of few high density international airports, travel to any destination without restriction. I have lived in a golden age.
