    Dr. A.J. Brickler, III is an avid pilot. Having begun his pursuit of flight in 1988, he became licensed as a VFR pilot in 1989; IFR status was accomplished in 1991. He has devoted numerous hours of his time and energy into becoming an accomplished, safe pilot with his greatest role models being members of the Tuskegee Airmen. He has studied them in depth and contributes to their life-long legacy through community presentations about their outstanding accomplishments during our Country's time in the War. He also participates in "Operation Sky Hook (the Memorial Day Weekend Fly-in for the Tuskegee Airmen) held in Tuskegee, AL. As a participant in this "Operation", he has given over 150 underprivileged kids rides in his plane in order to expose them to the world of flight. He is currently a member of Tuskegee Airman, Inc., Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Negro Airman International, Hat in the Ring Society and the Big Bend Flying Club of Tallahassee.
    Dr. Brickler is a true pilot in every sense of the word because he loves flying and all of the thrill and
    majesty that it has to offer!
    His loving wife and sons are so proud of all of his accomplishments m life - especially his WINGS!
