    B.S., United States Air Force Academy (1962), Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania (1971).
    Dr. Cheeseman’s career in aerospace engineering and, later, general management, includes assignments on the B-70 Mach 3 bomber, the Gemini spacecraft, nuclear weapon-effects test for Minuteman III, the USAF Manned Orbital Laboratory, NASA’s Skylab, Space Station, and Space Shuttle payloads.
    He managed programs to produce electronics systems for the FFG-7 guided missile frigates and, as General Manager, his division developed and produced CGI-based Weapons Systems Trainers for the F-5E/F export fighter, C-130 and Abrams M-1 tank.
    Dr. Cheeseman holds airplane and glider pilot ratings. He, with two other pilots, holds three FAI world records set in Ximango motor gliders on long distance flights.
