Dr. Doyle Hayes Brown was a private pilot for over 40 years. A man of widely varied interests, he held his love of aviation above all others. He raised eight children, each of whom holds cherished memories of being his copilot. In his final farewell he wrote, with gratitude, that he had "...fulfilled a boyhood dream to be able to travel two miles closer to heaven." He is dearly loved and missed.
