Graduated with a B.S.E. in A.E.E. from University of Michigan in 1942. Employed by National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA –precursor to NASA) form 1942 to 1946 in Full-Scale Wind Tunnel.
Returned to the University of Michigan for graduate studies. Obtained M.S.E. (1948) and PhD (1951).
Returned to NACA -- AMES (at Moffett Field, CA) followed by Avco Corp (ICBM re-entry vehicle design). Also worked for Martin Co.; McDonnell-Douglas; Textron.
Taught at University of New Orleans and University of Southwestern Louisiana.
