In a career of over thirty years with Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon, Dr. Mehring has been involved in the design and development of numerous space and aircraft systems. He was a member of the teams that built the Phoenix Missile, F-14 radar and weapons control systems, Marisat, Comstar, Intelsat N-A, Satellite Data System, UHF Follow On, Milstar, Global Broadcast Service, Airborne Communications node, Future Imagery Architecture, and National System for Geospacial Intelligence.
