Jen-Yuan Chang is a member of HDD development in Storage Technology division., IBM Corp. He received his B.S. from national Central University, Taiwan, M.S. and PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, USA, all in Mechanical Engineering.
His research interests include vibration of rotationally periodic structures, HDD spindle/motor dynamics, turbomechinary and flexible transporting media. He has published several journal and conference papers concentrating on free and forced response of rotationally periodic structures such as bladed disks, disk/spindle system.
