    Ms. Julia A. Windecker

Dr Windecker is the developer of the world's first Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified (1969) all-composite airplane, the Windecker Eagle I. It is in the collection of the National Air and Space Museum, and there is one in the Lake Jackson Museum, Lake Jackson, TX. The Windecker Eagle has set four transatlantic world speed records and was recognized as the fastest single-engine airplane entered in 1973 all-women transcontinental air race (known as "Powder Puff Derby").

In the early 1970s he developed the US Air Force YE-5 prototype stealth airplane.
