Dr. Hassan was born in Kashmir and immigrated to the United States in 1974 to study at West Virginia Univ., where he obtained a doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering in 1979. He started his career at the Jet propulsion Labs in Pasadena, CA, where he worked on various NASA programs. Since 1983, he is employed with Teledyne Controls in Los Angeles, CA, where he is currently the Vice President and General Manager. At Teledyne, he was instrumental in the development of various commercial avionics products that contribute directly to the enhancement of aviation safety and efficiency.
