Dr. Fleifil graduated from Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, B.Sci (1985) and M. Sci. (1991) in mechanical Engineering. He had his Ph.D., (1995) in combustion dynamics and instability from a co-supervisory program between Ain Shams University and MIT. Dr. Fleifil has been appointed post-doctor associate in the Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT for three years. His areas of expertise are Fluid Dynamics, Combustion Instability and Noise Control. He joined John Zink Co recently as Acoustics Engineer. Dr. Fleifil has lots of publications on Active Control of Combustion Instability in IEEE, Combustion Science and Technology and Combustion and Flame Journals, and he is a member of ASME and AIAA.
