    Dr. Nathan John Miller is actively involved in space exploration a space scientist at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Of his many accomplishments during his long career, of particular significance have been his contributions to atmospheric sciences and to the understanding of the Earth’s thermosphere and ionosphere through analysis of measurements made from spacecraft such as the Atmosphere Explorers and Dynamic Explorer. Especially important are the new insights he has contributed to understanding ionospheric storms associated with the interaction of the solar wind with the magnetosphere.
