    In 1989, Major General Goetze completed 30 years of military service in the U.S. Air Force. He served as Vice Director of the Joint Staff, Inspector General for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other senior positions dealing with financial planning, information resources and security.

    General Goetze also served in a number of command and staff positions with the Strategic Air Command commanding Squadron, Wing, and Air Division organizations. He flew 280 combat missions in Vietnam and received many decorations for valor and merit including the Defense Distinguished Service Medal.

    Dick has served as President and CEO of the College of Aeronautics in New York City, Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and member of the Board of Trustees of the University Aviation Association, Aerospace Education Foundation Trustee, President and Chairman and as life member of the Air Force Association performing many AFA and AEF functions. He established TRIAD Enterprises as a consultancy practice in 1997 specializing in matters dealing with aviation, education, national security, and Latin America.

    He has taught as an adjunct professor for the Naval War College and the Naval Postgraduate School and has presented papers at international conferences throughout Latin America on national security strategic planning. Dick also serves as a member of the American Military University Board of Directors. He has been interviewed extensively on television and radio in English and Spanish.
