Dr. Talbot participated in the development of several major aircraft and space vehicles during his 39 year career in aeronautical engineering. He served as the United States Air Force Structural Integrity Manager for the B-1 Bomber prototype development in the planning and conduct of the structural design test and flight test programs. He also served as Structural Manager for the Titan IV Space Booster Development program from inception through operational usage.
