Dr. Rauch holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and is a licensed commercial pilot and Certified Flight Instructor. He has a life-time interest in aviation, manned space exploration, and advanced propulsion technology. He has a record of achievement in both industry and with NASA in the areas of: i) conceptual design and systems engineering of ballistic missiles, manned spacecraft, and ballistic missile and air defense systems; ii) rocket propulsion testing project management; and iii) engineering, design, analysis, and management of propulsion ground test facilities and special test equipment.
