    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Robert O. Bowen

"Bob" has been a general aviation enthusiast since he began flying in 1970. He earned his Ph.D. in Health Science in 1971, quickly followed by his private pilot's license in 1972. He co-founded a flying club at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point campus, beginning a tradition of flying Luscombe aircraft which he continues to this day.

He has become active in the Wisconsin Civil Air Patrol, achieving the rank of Captain, and recently served as the Commander of the 183rd Stevens Point Composite Squadron based in Stevens Point, WI. He lives for the times when he can simply "take off" and enjoy the spirit of real flying, travelling wherever he feels like going.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
