    Dr. Brunale is an aerospace engineering specialist, expert in classification in advanced structural analysis. He provided guidance and direction for aerospace study programs, proposal efforts and structural research. He developed advanced migration techniques and newly devised theorems for finite deformation. He corrected serious design problems for aircraft and helicopter applications and structure. He developed the Air Force packaging techniques for DIL as published in "Aviation Week." He initiated cost reductions exceeding $300,000. He is the patent co-author, NSF research participant recipient of the achievement award, an international doctorate and others.

    During World War II he served with the 8th US Army Air Force in B-17 Flying Fortress'. His military decorations include the Air Medal with clusters, the Prisoner of War Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Purple Heart and the New York State Conspicuous Service Cross.
