My beautiful daughter was killed in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon on 911. She had two small children Drake (BOO) and Chandler. On 911 Drake (BOO) was two years 6 months of age and Chandler was one year and ten months. Her maiden name was Fair.

My daughter's husband has established a foundation in the honor of her name where the donations are applied to support of educational projects such as reading and art, nursing homes, etc. The web site is 'www.shelleysfoundation.org ".

Her son Drake (BOO) has always had a keen interest in aircraft and we frequently visit the museum and I enjoy having him tell me about the names and types of aircraft. He looks up different aircraft on the internet and knows most by their shapes. He has great interest in books about aircraft and has been reading since he was five years of age. We have six grandchildren and I have noticed that this child has always had a unique interest in flying and aircraft. Who knows? Maybe someday he'll be a pilot or an astronaut. He may even be famous.

I asked if he would like to have his name on the plaque in front of the museum and he said that would be great for he could take a picture and show it to his friends which comes to the " 911" after his mother's name. Many years from now I want him to always remember his mother and his friends will know about this terrible loss.
