    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

I worked for NASA during the Apollo Missions Program back in 1968 and 1969. While a student at New Mexico State University I worked at the Apollo Site testing the LEM and CSM engines. What a thrill it was to fire up the Bell X-15 engines for the "Steam Generator" and pop the test kettles trap doors to simulate a space vacuum.
Being trained in numerous facets of the testing operations I gained a deep appreciation for our space program and the dedicated people that made it all happen.
I am proud to be a part of that history and darn proud to be an American. God Bless America and all the people at NASA.
