    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Michael Grinch

Earl Wendell Voss was born in 1921 and died in 1995. He learned to fly early on and was aloft at every opportunity. He was so keen to fly that after being turned down by the Army Air Forces just prior to World War II that he and his best friend applied to Canada to the Royal Air Force! He would go on to serve in the war as a U.S. Merchant Marine. Later in life, as a member of the Top of Ohio Pilots Association, he shared his love of flight with numerous school groups, as well as his friends and family. He is sorely missed -- submitted by the grandchildren of Earl Voss.
