    Eddie M. Bobo has been a private pilot for 36 years. He has earned a level 6 FAA wings status and has been a member of the Engineer's Flying Club in Oklahoma City for 34 years and served as their treasurer for 32 years. His lifetime interest in aviation and space flight has led him through many adventures including a trip to Osh Kosh, time in an F-18 flight simulator, time in a FAA full motion simulator, working as a Friend of the Aerospace America Air Show several years running, and to a Space Shuttle launch in 2002. Eddie Bobo is also a member of the National Air and Space Museum and the AOPA. He is considered to be an ambassador of aviation because of his efforts to expand interest in aviation and because of his devotion to the education and training of pilots. His family wishes to honor him on the National Air and Space Museum Wall of Honor. Summer, 2006.
