    Born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey on March 3, 1921. Constructed and launched hi first, parachute deploying, black powder fueled rocket in 1936. Became junior member of American Rocket Society (ARS) in 1937. Upon graduating from High School in 1939, became a full member of the ARS. Obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Commissioned an Ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1942.
    Upon being discharged from the Navy, Spring 1946, became a project engineer at Reaction Motors, Pompton Plains, New Jersey, responsible for developing the rocket engine for the "Lark" missile (U.S.'s first guided, anti-aircraft, missile, initially conceived to combat the Japanese Kamikaze).
    In 1948 - 1950, co-developer (with David M. Potter) of the Turbine Flowmeter, which became the standard for flow measurement in both the Rocket Engine Development and the Petroleum industry.
    In 1951, under the U.S. Army Ordinance, within the EML t the White Sands Proving Grounds became Chief of the Propulsion Branch laboratory. Within his Laboratory the final development of the "Redstone Missile" Rocket engine was accomplished. The "Redstone Missile" was the main stage for placing the first U.S. satellite into orbit.
    In 1963 founded and ran Flow Technology, Inc. which subsequently had numerous flow measuring systems in space, with seven systems onboard "Skylab", as well as aboard numerous commercial aircraft.
    At this time, 2002, is President of Calibron Systems Inc., a developer and manufacturer of fluid measuring instruments.
