    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Edward G. Martin earned his private pilot certificate in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1970. He subsequently earned additional ratings and since that time has flown a Beech Baron for his company, Martin GMC Trucks, Inc.

Ed has been an avid supporter of general aviation in the Lake Charles area. He has given many children their first airplane ride. Recently he provided air transportation for a local university professor who needed a liver transplant.

Ed volunteers his airplane to fly handicapped children and their parents for Challenge Air. At airshows he patiently shows children and adults his restored antique Tiger Moth. He is passing on an important part of history and the love of flying to the next generation.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
