Edward Grube, Jr., an aerospace structural engineer, had a 30 year career with Temco/ LTV/Vought Aerospace as a project engineer and project manager. His projects included the XB-70 Valkyrie, F-8 Crusader, A-7 Corsair, Boeing SST (supersonic transport), Boeing 747, McDonald Douglas DC-10, Lockheed L-1011, Lockheed S-3 Viking, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), B-2 stealth bomber, space shuttle radiator panels, and the stealth fighter. During the Vietnam War he was a STRAAD (Special Techniques Repair Analysis Aircraft Damage) consultant to the U.S. Navy.

He served in the Army Air Forces in the United States during World War II as a sergeant in the engineering office with the Central Flying Training Command in Texas. Thanks Dad!
