At an early age, I developed a lifelong interest in aerospace propulsion systems inspired by the Apollo Program. This interest was further inspired by the fact that my grandfather, Edward R. Barry, helped to manufacture the first turbine engine built in the United States. I followed this to a rewarding engineering career in aircraft engine evaluation and test.
