    Edward Marzola joined the US Army in 1967. After basic training at Fort Polk, LA, he was assigned to Fort Wolters, TX to begin helicopter flight training and then to Hunter AAF, GA for advanced training, receiving his wings as an Army Aviator in August 1968. In 1969, he attended AH1-G Cobra training and then was assigned to A Trp, 3Sg, 17 Air Cav in Vietnam. During his one year tour, he flew over 1200 combat hours and was twice awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. After his release from active duty, Mr. Marzola flew helicopters for the PA and MP National Guard. He has continued his career in aviation as a corporate pilot and has logged more 15,000 hours.
