    Edward Harbridge (4-14-16) learned to fly in the early 1930s in an “American Eagle” with a Kinner K5 engine. He got his pilot license and worked all the way up to a commercial pilot before 1938. He served in the US Navy from April, 1941 to August, 1945. He flew a variety of planes - SOCs SNJs, R4Ds, PBYs, as well as many general aviation planes.

    Phyllis Harbridge (9-28-15), always a supporter of aviation, took flying lessons in the 1960s and always supported her husband and son in their flying. Always had an interest in airplanes and in space flight.
