Edward Ruitberg served as a member of the Hubble Space Telescope Project at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration/Goddard Space Flight Center from October 1981 through December 2009. He made significant contributions to the development of the Hubble Space Telescope deployment mission launched in April 1990, and to all five Hubble on-orbit servicing missions conducted December 1993 through May 2009. Mr. Ruitberg held positions of increasing responsibility and served as the Deputy Program Manager for Hubble Space Telescope Program from June 2002 through December 2009.

Mr. Ruitberg retired from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in January 2010.
