    Commissioned 2nd Lt. ISAF 1950. Overseas tours in Germany four years , Flight operations instructor in training command for Air Force Academy for three years, Tactical reconnaissance pilot and operations officer in USAFE tactical squadron for three years. Instructor pilot and Chief, Instrument Systems Test and Evaluation Branch, USAF Instrument Pilot Instructor School. Squadron Commander (RF4) Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron based in Thailand during Vietnam conflict. Awards: Three Distinguished Flying Cross Service Medals; twelve Air Medals; Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal & USAF outstanding Unit Award. Test Director for Advanced Instrument Landing Systems, Aircraft Commander on c-141 Starlifter operated by Military Airlift Command & Commercial Aircraft. Total Service: 28 years 10 months.
