    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Elizabeth Rowe Brogan, known to friends and family as Betty, has been a community activist for all of the forty years she has lived in Carson City, Nevada. During her tenure as Chairman of the Carson City Centennial/Bicentennial Commission in 1974-1976 she became acquainted with the man who became her husband and her pilot in 1987. Early in their marriage she recognized and honored his passion for aviation and gifted him with an airplane in which he has taught many, many young, and not so young, aviators. Betty continues today serving the Brewery Arts Center she helped initiate in 1975, her church as treasurer, the local Chamber of Commerce as a board member and the Navy League of the United States, Carson City Council as newsletter editor and vice president.
