WILLIAM CARTER DODSOM, ENSIGN USNRF
Born March 10, 1896 in North Carolina Died July 31 1970
He was an "Early Bird" in the U.S. Naval Air Corps of WW I. Though his exploits as a Naval Aviator did not extend beyond his patrolling the Panama Canal Zone from the air he, nevertheless, contributed to the early use of airplanes to defend the United States in war. He served well.
